The Professional Dance Teachers’ Registration Scheme will set internationally recognised standards for dance teachers, using clear and measurable criteria in four categories. Launching in September 2012 the Royal Academy of Dance required a microsite to help explain the new scheme for current and potential new members. Working for Cog Design we were asked to convert the designs they created into HTML5 and CSS.
Ummo built the website using WordPress as a CMS allowing the client the ability to edit/update and maintain the content via a user friendly administration panel. Feedback on the new scheme was essential to the client so the site used Disqus as a commenting system to allow anyone to leave a note on the site. We also worked with the team at Cog to create an online questionnaire to gauge opinion on a range of specific questions.
